I recently participated in my second international swap hosted by Mystique of Beast & Beauty from Australia. This time around I was paired up with Mystique herself and I got lots of treats. If you want to see what I got her you can see it here.
I got things that were uniquely Australian and I was super happy. I will be posting overviews, swatches and a couple looks with the makeup in future posts.
Australis Color Inject Mineral Lipstick in Foxtrot
I received this lovely gem in a recent swap from the beauty blogger
Agent Rouge in Australia.
It is long lasting, moisturising and nourishing lip colour. It’s an injection of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, the hottest thing on everyone’s lips. It contains Kakadu plum which is the world’s highest known source of vitamin C. Vitamin C is not only soothing, but also naturally stimulates collagen formation. Australis.com.au
Foxtrot is a gorgeous mauve shade. It is so soft and glides easily without sinking into the lines of the lip. It is non-drying and feels smooth like a lip balm. It has a slight lipstick scent, which fades after a few minutes. I like it very much and wear it to work occasionally.
Gorgeous mauve color
Gorgeous blue that swatches darker on the skin than in the pot. The silver pigment is very fine very shimmery/super fine glitter. Review as to the wear and longevity of the shadows coming soon 🙂
In February I signed up to participate in an International Valentines day swap hosted by Beauty and Beast
. I think she will be planning/hosting a few more swaps this year so check out her blog for updates 🙂
I was paired up with the lovely Jenny
aka Agent Rouge from Sydney Australia. She has the cutest blog and a love for blush so check it out 🙂 We corresponded for awhile and from her blog I knew exactly what to get her, I in turn asked her for beauty related things that were uniquely Australian. I got this lovely box with goodies from the brand Australis Cosmetics
. OMG how cute is this box!!! and everything arrived in perfect condition.
I love this box 🙂
A lovely card with a lovely note, how cute is this 🙂
So on to the goodies clockwise: 3 in 1 makeup remover wipes, Bio-Oil (which was actually on my wish list), mineral lipstick, Double Decker eyeshadows, a Paparazzi Perfect eyeshadow palette and a Lancome Juicy tube mini lipgloss.
I’ll be reviewing and swatching the eyeshadows and lipstick individually in future posts to highlight each more and maybe I’ll throw in a look or two 😉
I am really happy I participated in this swap, I got to meet Jenny:) and I got to try a new brand of makeup from the land down under.
See you in the next post 🙂
