My current makeup wishlist is not very extensive. I only have one brand (Chanel) and one product type (Rouge Coco Gloss) that I really want and am very interested in. The new reformulated, non-sticky, ultra-light formula will leave the lips visibly smooth and plump. The new glosses also boast an new innovative, dual-sided applicator to ensure optimal and even coverage and high precision. The are currently 24 shades to choose from. I have my eye on two in particular:
The new glossimers are enriched with Coconut Oil, Peptides and Vitamin E, and a Hydraboost Complex (exclusive to Chanel). This new formula claims to offer hours of comfort and moisture. I’ve seen reviews where people say the new glosses are a vast improvement over the old formula.
The new Clarins Ombre Iridescente Cream-to-Powder Iridescent Eyeshadow in Silver Plum (no. 07) was released earlier this year as a part of the Spring 2016 Collection. This is a gorgeous purple taupe, a deep smokey lavender with a silver undertone.
Clarins have blended iridescent, soft-focus pigments with bamboo powder for stay-true brilliance and long-lasting wear. A Vitamin E derivative keeps lids comfortable. Casts a soft, pearlescent glow during the day; a stylized, high-voltage iridescence at night.
This shadow combines the ease and comfort of a cream with the long wear if a powder. It’s gives a sparkling not glittery finish. It is very smooth and the texture in the little pot is a cross between the Chanel Ombres and the L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows. This shadow does hold up on for at least 8hrs with or without a cream base with minimal creasing. I do however always use an eyeshadow primer due to my oily lids.
These shadows are gentle enough for sensitive eyes and are dermatologist- and ophthalmologist-tested.

The new #Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector shades are no.07 Toffee Pink Shimmer and no. 08 Plum Shimmer. @clarinsnews
These are gorgeous shades and are super glossy with no detectable shimmer. The wear is comfortable and plum shimmer leaves a slight stain. Toffee Pink gives me the my lips but better look.

I purchased this bronzer with the sole purpose of using it as a highlighter. It is absolutely gorgeous. I use is a few times a week. This bronzer is baked on a terracotta pan to create a beautiful domed product. Hula Hula gives the complexion a hint of bronzed color for a sun-kissed look. This bronzer appears to be shimmery or dewy but is actually matte so it does not make the skin appear shiny when applied. One just glows. This is gorgeous on tanned to dark skin. It is soft and blends easily into the skin. It typically retails for $9.00 and can be found almost everywhere even the grocery store.

This set of glossed were originally available April 7th for VIB Rouges and April 16th in-stores (Sephora). I purchased this set on sale on July 12th for $24.00 (12 x 0.05 oz. / 0.60 oz. or 1.40g total). Original price was $49.00. As of today, the 19th, it is no longer available at Sephora.com. I like these gloss libraries that BITE Beauty releases once a year. Last year I picked up theDECONSTRUCTED ROSE LIP GLOSS LIBRARY and really liked it and the rose scent. This year’s library of glosses is not as fragrant as the other. The scent is hard to describe primarily because there is hardly one but it is slight floral/fruity. Extremely mild. The formula is slightly thicker than most glosses but is not sticky. Over all I like these glosses and although I will not wear them all (two, four, five, six are out) I will enjoy them.
Below are swatches taken with and without flash. Each gloss only has the number on the bottom sticker. From L to R: One -Yellow, Two – Light pink, Three – Pink, Four – Lavender
L to R: Five – Green, Six – Pink, Seven – Red, Eight – Coral
L to R: Nine – Plum, Ten – Dark Pink, Eleven – Fuchsia, Twelve – Purple Berry

In addition to the two ColorPop blushes I picked recently (see review here), I also got 4 of the shadows. I looked at swatches online before making my seelction (with one wild card). Unlike the blushes, I like this texture for formulation for the shadows. The colors I got were just lovely except forSunnies, this one looked nice in the pot but applied were patchy to to the lid and the color payoff was a huge disappointment. I got this one as my wildcard and intended to pair it with my MAC Coral Crepe paintpot. It failed by itself and with the base.
The others I got were So Quiche, Smash and Drift. I have no complaints and love how smooth they applied (best with ones finger). Each shadow retails for $5.
The Coastal Scents REVEALED 2 eyeshadow palette contains 20 highly pigmented shadows. It is a bit richer and warmer than the original REVEALED palette (reviewed here). Unlike the first, R2 has more rose and pink tones shades with a good mix of mattes and shimmers. The quality is just as good, smooth, blendable. pigmented except for one (row 1, shade 4) which was a bit chunky and hard to swatch and pick up with a brush. I swatched the shadows with and without flash. Each palette retails for $19.95 and could be less (they have sales a few times a year).
I have been looking for a black stay all day eyeshadow base and decided to try Make Up Forever’s Aqua Cream Black (no.27) . This ultra pigmented waterproof cream product can be used as either an eyeshadow base or long-lasting stand alone shadow. No 27 gives a rich black finish that is buildable, transform shadows placed on top, lasts all day and can be applied with the fingertip or a synthetic brush.
