This past Friday, I celebrated my birthday and set a goal to blog every day until my next birthday. Next year I will be 40 and my blog will be 9!!!! I am disbelief, I will have been on this earth for 4 decades.
So every day until then, I will post about something that reflects the nature of this blog, beauty & skincare. Even if it is one word. I found this easier than trying to do the 40 things before 40, that everyone else does. I don’t have 40 things I want to do before turning 40, I have a million. Over the coming year, I also plan to give this blog a much-needed facelift. A few years ago blogs were in danger of being obsolete given the emergence and popularity of vlogging on YouTube. Note to self I should find a reference for this. But I am seeing a return to blogging trend. I blame all the restrictions and analytics YouTube and Instagram have implemented.
I think this will be a fun challenge of sorts so let’s begin!!!

Above is the review I left on the Keurig website. Overall, there is no difference in the coffee brewed, it taste the same. Unfortunately, there are many issues with the new K.2 so much so that I prefer to use the original one that basically had no issues. I think Keurig tried to recapture the ‘K cup’ market and designed K 2.0 to only use their brand cups. Now here is the biggest issue I had and I think other people are having too is that K 2.0 doesn’t even recognize many of their own approved brands and one is unable to use the ‘My K Cup’. I gave it 3 stars because it still brews a good cup of coffee and is convenient when in a rush.

Season 3 of The Rachel Zoe Project
has begun. I love this show, Rachel Zoe although a bit crazy is the best. I would love to spend a day with her, be styled by her and learn from her. I love, love, love Rachel Zoe. Although people say that Rodger is out for her money, I don’t think so, I think he really loves her and he’s been by her side from day 1. On the other hand I don’t know how to classify him, he’s not exactly a manly man but he’s not gay either (i don’t think) I’m going to put him in the metrosexual category. I think he’s cute and he reminds me of Bret of Bolt House from “The Hills”.
Brad is Brad, I like his preppy style and how he’s always put together. What I can’t believe is the drama with Taylor, despite her bitchiness in the previous seasons I actually like(d) her. I know she could have acted a bit more professional but I love her style ‘punk chic’. She has an awesome blog ‘Love Taylor”
on Everyday Minerals
I don’t know if she has any stakes in this company (sells mineral makeup). Just like other reality shows producers tend to exaggerate certain issues and the fact that she’s bound my a confidentiality agreement, so she can’t give her side of the story. I don’t believe, I can’t believe she would do that to Rachel.
I know this is a beauty blog but I’m making an exception for RZ. She has a clothing/accessories line on QVC but I think she should come out with a line of makeup. I’d be all over that in a heart beat.
I love you RZ. OMG, OMG, I die, I die……
