Review: BlackOpal Total Coverage Concealing Foundation

I purchased this on a whim a few months ago and I couldn’t be any happier. This is my first time using Black Opal. I have seen it for years but somehow was never inclined to buy.
The Total Coverage Concealing foundation retails for $9.50 and I got it from drugstore.com. The shade is #07 Beautiful Bronze and although online is looked like a match it turned out to be a bit too red for me to use as an all over foundation. I use it as a under-eye and spot concealer and it works wonders. I use this everyday and never never leave home without it. If I’m not doing a full face, I just conceal and use my MAC MSF to smooth everything out. Seeing by its name using it as either a foundation or concealer is okay. I have no complaints and really like it. Once blended is dries to a powder and sets giving a matte finish more or less all day long. I will try this foundation again but in Hazelnut ( I wish I could test a bunch without buying them first).

“Developed by a dermatologist. This hypoallergenic, 2-in-1 product is part-concealer, part-foundation and infused with skin-protecting minerals. Maximum coverage.” Description courtesy of blackopalbeauty.com

Black Opal products can be found everywhere but I like buying from drugstore.com especially when there is a store-wide coupon.
